Manual Camera

Exposure Triangle
iso
ISO is a camera setting that changes the sensor's sensitivity to light. it enable capturing images in various light settings. for example a lower ISO (100-200) for bright daylight and a higher ISO (1600+) for darker settings. however higher settings introduce image noise and can result in grainy, patchy discoloured images.
Shutter Speed
the shutter speed is the length of time the cameras shutter remains open, exposing the sensor or film to light. it controls exposure and dictates how much motion is captured. at fast speeds (1/1000s) action is frozen and at slower speeds (2s) a blurred image is produced.
Aperture
an aperture is the adjustable opening within a camera lens. measured in F-stops, the aperture acts like a human pupil, dictating image brightness and depth of field. a lower F-number (F/2.0) means a wider opening creating an image with more light and a shallow focus. A higher F-number (F/16) means a narrower opening creating an image with less light and a deeper focus.
